Meaghan Mackey

Meaghan Mackey is graduating from the University of Nevada-Reno with a degree in journalism. She has spent the last four years living in Reno pursuing her bachelor's degree with an emphasis in broadcast news and a minor in communication studies. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and writing in her free time. After graduation, she will be pursuing a professional career as a reporter in local television.

Jess Marquez

Jess Marquez is a third-year journalism student at the University of Nevada and a lifelong Reno local. Having grown up around Mormons and their culture, he chose this project to get a more detailed perspective of the church and investigate some of his own curiosities. 
His main interests are sports and men's lifestyle, and after graduation in 2019 he will pursue a career in print. 

Emily Hodge

Emily Hodge is a junior at the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno. Emily enjoys meeting new people, learning about new cultures and photography. With an interest in international affairs and a minor in photography, she wants to pursue international photojournalism after receiving her BA in journalism. 

Prince Nesta


Prince Nesta is a radio host,  podcaster and a graduate journalism student at UNR. Prior to UNR, he
attended the United States International University in Nairobi,Kenya where he received his B.A. in
